20%-off New Patient Evaluations!
The screening process includes finding specific tender points in the body, those show the practitioner where your body is holding onto inflammatory, pain-generating chemicals. The treatment, itself, should be pain-free for the patient. Restoring your body's natural healing patterns and rhythms so you can lead a higher quality life.
Anybody who is doing their best to invest in their health. Anybody who has tried traditional physical therapy, chiropractic, or other rehab medicine, and hasn't had the long-term success that they would hope for. FCS treats dysfunction in the body, not just pain, at the root-cause. If you are unsure if FCS can help you, please schedule a discovery call by calling or texting (260) 222-2665!
Think workout clothes; shorts, T-shirt, leggings, tank tops, etc. Jeans and heavy clothing makes it tough on the provider to accurately assess your body. Dressing in layers can be helpful.
Finding the diagnostic tender points can be just as they're described: tender. However, unlike many traditional manual therapy techniques, the application of the treatment should be pain-free for the patient. If there is pain, then that tells the practitioner that another part of the body needs to be treated before performing the painful release.

Usually within two to four hour-long sessions, you should start to notice positive improvements in your symptoms. Although, some people notice changes after their first, full session. Other things to note:
- You may feel sluggish or "blah" following your treatment.
- This is normal and let's us know that your body is filtering out the "junk" that was released during your treatment.
- If you have been dealing with your symptoms for a long time, it may take longer for the benefits to be realized. Patience and persistence is key!
Over the next four-to-six hours after your session, drink roughly a half gallon of water to help flush out the "junk" that was released during your treatment.
- Stay away from pro-inflammatory foods; highly processed foods, vegetable oils, high fructose corn syrup, some raw vegetables and nuts, or anything that you know flares you up. Ask Dr. Mitchell what may work best for you!
- Get seven-to-nine hours of quality sleep! Wind down your night about 60-90min before you aim to fall asleep; no TV, limit phone usage, take a warm shower/bath, read a book, etc.

By law, Medicare beneficiaries must obtain care that is deemed medically necessary from a participating Medicare provider. Physical therapists, by law, are not permitted to "opt out" of Medicare and accept direct payment for services that are covered by Medicare. If a Medicare beneficiary chooses to pay directly for services at Rhythm Holistic Manual Therapy, which has no relationship with Medicare, they must, of their own free will, request (under the HIPAA Privacy Act) that no information about their care be shared with Medicare or any secondary insurance that would cooperate with Medicare. There are additional consent forms for these cases. Also, understand that there will be no, through Medicare nor secondary insurances, option for reimbursement for services provided at Rhythm Holistic Manual Therapy.
Dr. Mitchell will see people who are coming in from out of town for longer sessions to accomodate for travel time/expenses. Confirm with Dr. Mitchell about when you will be in town/seeking treatment, and he will lead the conversation from there to get you/your family treated.
Dr. Mitchell will travel to you if you don't live close to the office! Rates for services will be based on distance of travel, but the rate would all be discussed/confirmed prior to committing to treatment. The more people/time that Dr. Mitchell would be seeing makes the travel more feasible, so please consider grouping friends/family of all ages together who are interested in receiving FCS treatment.
